WEDDING DAY SUPPLIER - FIREWORKS

Choosing your Firework Professional

Fireworks, pure and simple are renowned as one of the most spectacular forms of outdoor entertainment and are becoming very synonymous with the wedding industry.
Buying a professional CAT 4 fireworks display is not something people do often or in fact at all and as a result can leave people feeling unsure or confused with the information and value for money elements of buying a display. When faced with the task of choosing a company to provide a professional fireworks display for your event, there are a number of key factors to consider in order for you to ensure you and your guests of a safe and spectacular display:

A further important consideration is your neighbours, in particular when there are animals or livestock in close proximity to your event. Often you will find that letting people in the area know a few weeks before that the display is happening will resolve any possible issues. It will also give your neighbours a chance to enjoy the display too!

Budget - In general a Professional firework display will cost from £100 per minute to provide a dynamic and spectacular display. With fireworks the sky truly is the limit in terms of what you can spend to WOW and create memorable moments for you and your guests alike on your big day.

As a guide a wedding display lasting around 8 minutes from the professionals will cost you in the region of £800. Some companies may offer what may seem “more for less”, but you often find in the fireworks industry that you get what you pay for in terms of quality and professionalism.

Credentials- Find out if the company firing your show is a member of the BPA.  The British Pyrotechnics Association ( BPA ) is the only Government recognised set of standards and codes of practice in the UK.

If any company refuses access to these, you have to ask why !. A site visit is vital long before a show so the company can assess the site for the kinds of devices they can use safely and to identify any risks. Do some research and look at a firework company blog and website for reviews and information about what they offer.  The whole transaction from booking to clearing up should all be slick and carried out professionally, all you need to do, is sit back and enjoy the show.
