Wedding planners can help of course. They have contacts and experience and when you commission them to organise your big day, you are in part paying them for their knowledge and contacts in each aspect of the day, including your invitations. But most people don’t have the resources to make use of a full-time wedding planner, especially in these cash-strapped, credit crunch times. 

For the rest of us, it’s about scouring the magazines and websites like this one to find interesting companies and individuals who can help you put your own unique stamp on your invitations.  Last year Bespoke Radio began offering this bespoke service through their website. In the grand scheme of things, the invitations will never get as much attention as the dress or the speeches.
