What is ‘customisable’ wedding stationery?

I’ve created a collection of house designs that you can choose from, if you’d rather not start completely from scratch with a bespoke design. But don’t worry, it won’t look like everyone else’s wedding stationery! You can take any suite as a base, and change the colours, papers, finishes and details to make it your own. I update the collection annually, so there’s some original classics and some fresh designs to choose from.

Taking inspiration from natural elements, fashion and bold colour, all of my customisable wedding stationery suites would suit alternative couples planning the party of a lifetime! From mid-century vibes, to 70s disco through to retro boho and neo-trad tattoos, the designs in the house collection have the foundations for all quirky tastes and the ability to make it completely individual.

It’s not just the colours, either! Together, we can explore of all types of papers and finishes - like foils, UV inks, tassels - you name it! I have a variety of samples I can share with you to help formulate your stationery plans. I can also make bigger changes to each house collection suite, or mix and match elements from two house designs, so if you see something you like but it’s not perfect for your wedding, simply get in touch to see how I can help. If you require more changes than just colours and text or wish to mix two or more house designs together, this will mean I charge a £175.00 fee for the extra design time.

What does each customisable wedding stationery suite include?

Each design in the house collection can cover save the dates, invitation cards, information cards (or booklets), RSVP cards, “Will you be in my wedding party?” cards, welcome signs, order of service sheets or booklets, table plans, table numbers or names, place names, menus and thank you cards.

You can choose the elements you want, and you certainly don’t have to have them all. Just go with what’s best for you two. You can also add bits - so it’s no problem to create seat reservation cards, food labels or anything else you think up! In the past, I’ve had bingo cards, photobooth props, order of the weekend booklets and stickers for favours, amongst many other requests. The joy of having a graphic designer on your wedding team is that I can roll out your design across any format to keep it all seamless, gorgeous and completely you.

Process and timeline

Week One: Choosing your design

Firstly, you choose which design from the house collection is best for you. Let me know your colours, details of your plans and which items (save the dates, invites, info cards etc) that you’d like. At this point, you’ll agree to a quote and sign a contract, and I’ll take a 50% deposit from you to cover some of my design time.

Weeks Two - Three: Customising your stationery

I’ll send you some designs over email to check that the colours and style are exactly what you had in mind. When you give me the okay, I’ll get to work on the rest of the stationery suite.

Once that’s done, I’ll email you images of each part of the suite and we can discuss any final finishes and what paper you’d like. I can make as many changes as you need. When your stationery is ready to print, I ask for the final payment of 50% to cover printing and delivery costs.

If you’d like to order or to ask a question, just get in touch. I’m looking forward to hearing about your ideas!
